FMc I like you, we've met and I think your a great guy. My kind of people.
I dont understand why you (and some others) take issue, with either the number of threads, the sentiments expressed etc. I am a centrist, small c kind of person. If people want to stick their hands in the sand with respect to.

The future
Thats their choice just as it's others (ours) to talk and discuss so long as it remains polite/respectful any of it. Its "brutal" its affecting people, real people, has and will continue to.Never ever, has there been a party/time anywhere where things have been "so bad". And it's wide spread be it the waste/scandals, the blatant corruption, some of their idiotic policies, or mismanagement of many things and inability to implement near anything without problems…..you name it.
Maybe you are ok, with a publicly funded media outlet being so biased. Many won't be.
Maybe you are ok, with a bias in the media, others won't be.
Or how the Unions have factored so heavily in things…
You think those 3 things alone won't and don't skew peoples free will and choice? And thus election results?

BINGO Skypilot. you are bang on the money. Maybe just the part where they hate any and all right leaning and/or thinking people and their ideas. I think most of their staff would sooner have a root canal or tooth extracted than give even a tiny bit of praise to PM Harper or conservatives.
For all the Liberal supporters that like to deny that there isn't a left wing bias agenda to broadcasting,check this out www.friends.ca. Now,tell us how the CBC isn't the official voice of the Liberal Party of Canada.
