    Default Identification?

Managed to get out for a quick fish at a river mouth. Got lucky and caught a fish, took some pics and released it. Looking at the pics and I’m confused to what this fish is. Is this a jack Atlantic salmon, coho or trout. I’m thinking coho but I’m really not sure. IMG_1757.jpeg

    Nice looking fish.
I would have guessed Atlantic but I haven’t caught a coho or Atlantic.

I was thinking at first look that it was an Atlantic because how slender it was but the tail didn’t look like an Atlantic which was throwing me off. So my guess is coho

Coho only have spots on the upper half of the tail and I don't see any at all even zooming in. Every picture of atlantics don't show any spots on the tail

The tail was really forked and definitely no spots on it. So maybe an Atlantic?

The mouth for the most part was white and slightly greyish on the sides if that helps anyone to I’d this fish. I’m just not sure about colouration changes a younger fish has vs a mature fish.

I checked out some pics from that site and the tail from my fish does look the same as an Atlantic. Thanks
