A new hat with earflaps for cold mornings (black) and a couple of trail cameras to see whats moving about. Last summer I was across the border at the Ogdensburg, NY Walmart, and they were blowing out calls for way less than half of the regular price, most were $5 to $15 USD. I grabbed one of everything that was decent, so I'm set for the rest of my career, or until my newborn grandson decides if he has an interest in hunting. I sure as hell wont be back there any time again soon.
So many critters & so little time to hunt......

Just got a new Stevens 301 20guage. Couldnt get the Turkey addition anywhere in Canada so I went with the non-turkey model. Now to have it drilled and taped for a red dot sight and will need Turkey choke as well. Let the games begin!

Stevens 301dropped off at General gun in Windsor to install a scope rail. I went ahead a bought a Carlsons .555 choke tube as well.
Now I just need to find a decent red dot that won't drain my fun money account.
Hopefully I have it back this weekend so I can begin the patterning process. If not I'll hunt with the crossbow.
