We must be aware that Carney and Trump are cut from the same cloth. With them,it's all about the money. Carney,despite statements to the contrary during an election campaign,quite obviously,is in lock-step with the Trump agenda,especially,if it's to "annex" Canada (which given the alternative may not necessarily be a bad thing). Honestly,thanks in whole to Justin Trudeau and the Liberals complete failure to protect the country through subterfuge and abject ineptitude,I believe that Canada as a nation is doomed. If Canada is to be lost,I'd rather a Liberal regime be in power rather than a Conservative. That way,the responsibility for our destruction will be forever on the Liberal Party of Canada. No matter how hard they try,the media machine and the Liberals will never be able to "spin" their way out of that.

Were it a choice between being the 51st state in America or the 28th country in the EU my preference would be America. Same language, geographic proximity, cultural similarities and not having to deal with onerous and intrusive EU regulations on every aspect of life including firearms ownership.

Exactly! Besides that,from all indications and studying past history,it's becoming apparent that the EU is well on it's way to collapse.
