weird sighting
So on my drive into work today had a Blue heron fly over the 407/410 area. Thought by now they would all be gone. Unusual weather effecting migration? heck if I had the time would go look for woodcock

Strange weather for sure there are still sandhill cranes in the cut corn fields in my area

Woodcock...... they weren't around even during the season!

I don't know why people keeping saying that. Dogs found enough to keep the season interesting right up to the deer control season

Hello Finsfurfeathers,
I lived in Mississauga for over thirty years so I am familiar with the area that you have referred to. I now live in Port Rowan overlooking Long Point Bay and I saw a Great Blue Heron between Christmas and New Years feeding on minnows in some shallow open water.
