The mag issue is there since day one,same with the bolt issue.
I learned to work the bolt-no issue anymore.
I will try the stacking advice next year( on the range first).Truth to be told-having only one shell in the magazine also did not help, way back.
Ever since i use my gun as a single shot .First shot counts mostly anyway.........
But hey-i learned by now to load the gun pretty damn fast
(spare shells sitting just "right there where they are close by").
The gun is awesome otherwise.
So I emailed savage about the mag jamming, they replied to me simply asking me for a shipping address, and they are sending me a new mag, so I guess we'll see if that fixes it lol

my wife upgraded her mag to an all aluminum custom one made down in the states. it's much better but I have no idea who the manufacture was but I know it wasn't cheap and took a few months to get
