The answer is pretty clear to me
Leaving any class of firearm in an unattended vehicle
Lockable container for storing firearm
Lock non-restricted firearms and locked containers carrying restricted or prohibited firearms in the trunk or in a similar lockable compartment.
If the vehicle does not have a trunk or lockable compartment, put firearms and firearm containers out of sight inside the vehicle and lock the vehicle.

Has too much time on their hands
As far as leaving gun in your vehicle at your residence....there is federal case law that basically states if you car is in your driveway, it would not be considered safe storage as you can take the gun inside your residence. If you are not at your residence, locked and out of sight is likely suitable. A trigger lock would cover the storage aspect as well, as opposed to transportation.
Clear as mud???
As far as loaded ML, (and many other scenarios), both federal and provincial laws apply.
Look at the federal law first.....a ML with powder and bullet in it, is considered loaded. It legally cannot be left this way overnight.
The provincial FWCA basically provides an exemption to this, by removing the primer, WHILE MOVING FROM ONE HUNTING AREA TO ANOTHER.
I may not have the wording exactly right, as I didn't look it up, but this is basically what the two Acts say.

Just curious on how you end the hunt in the dark after legal light with powder and a bullet in the muzzle loader and the gun encased because it’s after legal shooting light?
Gun control:Criminals who ignore laws against rape, torture, kidnapping, theft, and murder, will obey a law that prohibits them from owning a firearm while disarming decent people from having access to firearms to deter criminals.

To your question Found- i empty my Omega by unscrewing the nipple ,and pushing out the load. This takes away the last 2-3 minutes of the hunt. The sweet spot sometimes.
I hate that.
Some fire their gun in the air or in the ground shortly before the end of legal.
I could hear pop-pop all aroud my stand many times in the past(in the heydays of the abundance of secondary deer tags in 82A).
Even though i love my muzzleloader ,this ,and loading the gun after legal makes me do it a whole lot less ,then i would do otherwise.
There are maybe other methods they are working too-but i do not know.

Firing a gun in the air and even in the ground is never a good idea!
