DeWalt trimmer DCST922...any MacGyver out there try converting
Morning gentlemen, has anyone ever tried converting there weed eater (above) into a heavy duty brush wacker...thinking of buying the above and changing to a metal blade to clear some deer laneways where I hunt...is this possible?
Let me know

Well I don't see any optional equipment for that particular model. I have a gas Stihl and it was designed for adding steel circular saw type blades and a blade with chainsaw type teeth and a bigger shroud for protection, made fast work of anything up to 1- 1 1/2 inch brush with no effort. I would suspect the battery wouldn't hold up that long.

Has too much time on their hands
My guess is due to battery and/or torque limits it is not advisable. If it were possible I am sure deWalt would sell an add on kit.
