Bear Party
This is what happens when a farmer plants corn near a deer feeder! Bears have been coming to the mineral lick pretty hard. One photo shows 6 bears together and I think there are a couple more - including a brown one. No feed in the feeder but there must be some lingering odours.

I'm not a bear hunter, so is this normal for that many bears to be together.

Bears normally compete for food so tend not to tolerate others. In this instance there are likely 3 family groups and no boars so they are getting along… for now.
