    Anyone fish this area owned by G.R.C.A. been a couple of times fly fishing but just got little shiners any advice

    Try fishing the runs above elora/fergus. I’ll fish inverhaugh early season but move up river by June. Fishing is better above elora imo water temps are much lower

    I’ve fished Wilson Flats a few times, and yeah, it can be hit-or-miss. If you’re only getting shiners, it might be worth switching up your flies try streamers or nymphs, especially if you see any bug activity on the surface. Timing can make a big difference too; early mornings or evenings tend to be better when the fish are more active.

    I’ve had the best luck around the deeper pools or slower sections of the river. If you’re not set on just fly fishing, maybe try a small spinner or even some worms sometimes the bigger ones can’t resist
