Insane! March 4th and male Woodcock already peenting here north of Kawartha Lakes. I bet the bears will be out next.

I think this warm weather up here has brought a lot of early arrivals… had a few robins appear last week and had a few grackles at the feeder this morning….

Ya just saw my first Grackle this morning. Surprised to hear they made it up there without me spotting one in the GTA.

They announced early last week that the bears were already out and about according to the MNR.

They are trickling in Simcoe/Severn.

Quite a few have made it to the Midland area already. I could hear woodcock from every direction when I was walking the dog at sunrise on Saturday.
