What he said. Have had it happen to me, and pretty much all manufactures run the same program. At least in this case it worked out for you!

well I just got off a chat with SP. This is the first time that I got someone that didn't read of the page and tell me to do exactly what the instructions say. the LM2 that I first bought month ago I sent back to where I bought it as I got nowhere with SP, go another shipped and it worked out of box so put it in bush, it started to take hundreds of pictures every minute for 2 days until I was back hunting and shut it off. Called this morning as it still not working before I ship it back to seller. this person never even mentioned the routine just had me turn it on and off and say what I saw. So new camera on the way, I hope 3rd time a charm, won't be much time for deer season left by the time I get it and put in bush.

Years ago we purchased a Spypoint tablet and the screen cracked on the first outing. our experience at the time with Spypoint was horrible and we didn't get anything resolved until I got a french speaking coworker to call them (that alone is ridiculous that they would give better service because of language spoken)
I did have an issue with one of my Tactacams and that company jumped through hoops to help me out and after we couldn't fix it they upgraded my camera at a very minimal cost and overnighted it to me so I could get it back into the field ASAP along with crediting me a month of service for lost time in the field

well I got the LM2 the replacement one it worked so now in bush, but having doubts if it really working. I also decide to buy the flex got it late Friday night, put 8 new alkaline batteries in as short a couple lithium, but figured be good enough till I got all lithium put new formated SD card in. Well it worked so left it in living room it took about 20 pictures before the batteries died. thought that was strange so today picked up a couple more lithium batteries, worked in house so put it outside. signal at 100% so was battery life. went for walk with dogs saw lights come on but no picture to phone. came back from walk again lights went off and still no photos. Checked SD card and did take photos but not sending and the new batteries are down to 96% which does seem odd. So long story to say I'm done buying spypoint. When the 3 I have die I will just go with no cameras. To bad as it is a great idea

I've been having bad luck with my LM2. I bought a double pack back in October. Never had any problems with my older Link-Micro and Link-Micro-LTE. Both LM2s stopped communicating within the same week. Both were replaced free of charge. After about a month, one of the replacement started taking a picture every 2 hours on the hour when the camera would wake up and communicate. After some troubleshooting it was replaced. The replacement was tested at home for a few days without any issues. Put it out yesterday in the field and it started taking a picture every 2 hours on the hour. For the time being I'll just change the transfer to be twice a day instead to save on the amount of false triggers.

The trick for good service with Spypoint is to use the online chat. I've had great service it just takes a long time to get through all the steps so it's good to do when you have spare time.
