    Default Deer are changing their patterns

    I’m getting fewer photos of deer at my mineral licks. In fact I haven’t gotten a buck photo since they shed their velvet. Most the fawns have lost their spots too. The countdown is on!

    that was my camera last year, not a damn thing on them. then mid week driving back for lunch side of the road a massive 12 point. that was the only buck i seen last year other than small yearlings.

    I find in my area salt licks can get hit throughout the year, or sometimes not at all. Late season corn is usually a favourite.

    My mineral sites shut down about this time as well. Young bucks, does and fawns may visit until mid October
