Western Canada Guided Elk
Hi all. I know this is a bit off topic (outside Ontario) but I am looking for advice and recommendations (positive or negative) for an outfitter/guide for a BC or Alberta Elk (rifle) hunt. I'm in decent health/shape BUT I'm getting up there in age so I'd probably be looking for a lodge/cabin/ATV/horseback type hunt more than a 10-15 km of mountainous hiking daily and sleeping in a tent type hunt.
An elk hunt is my #1 "bucket list" hunt and they are pricey and I'm guessing this will be a one-time hunt for me so I want to be pretty selective with who I decide to go with. So if anyone has done this hunt and had a great (or a terrible) experience I'd certainly appreciate some opinions. Thanks in advance!

I would love to go on an elk hunt too one day. Good luck on your quest!

A buddy and I hunted Tuschodi Outfitters a few years back, horseback hunt. We each got an elk, and had a great experience. The outfit is now run by the son of the guy I hunted with, but it was a first class outfit, lots of elk.

Thanks, Ouzel. Looks like a beautiful place but his prices are a LOT more than most of the others that I've bookmarked so far. Appreciate the input though!
