Leafs lose again

While the Leafs did play really well last night, they lost to another team with a hot goalie. Matthews and Marner just weren’t into it and definitely played much worse than normal. Until they get a couple of high calibre goal tenders they will not have a chance at a cup. Time to trade some of their top players for some really good goalies.
I predict that Matthews and maybe another top forward will probably ask to be traded to a team that has a good chance of winning the cup.
Also look for some big changed to upper management.
Now it’s time to spend evenings around the campfire.

This is not unusual. They have developed of history of loosing to demonstrate how much their fan bases loves them. They are out to prove you do not have to win to garner support tor your lack of positive achievement Maybe it's a Zen thing.

If everyone keeps buying tickets, there's no real incentive to win, they look at the ticket buyers and laugh. If everyone stopped for a season they would have to get their sad butts in gear and win.

You can make all the excuses you want to, but it all boils down to no heart and the will to put it all on the line every time you step on to the ice.

And it doesn't matter if you have the best goalie in the league, the number of shots on goal every nite the odds aren't in your favour....
