    What to believe.

Maybe I should believe Werner about all this and its always happened over the centuries OR maybe I should believe CLIMATE SCIENTISTS who have made a life time of studying and research.

You know the same scientists that Mr Harper cut of all funding and ongoing research because he was firmly in the pockets of Big Oil.
funny thing about these "climate scientists" you talk about is who are they funded by and does this funding allow for the full picture to be examined?

pause and think before answering this one Gilroy

I mean-this IS the Pinnacle of rudeness ,ignorance and money grab.

    We need a change.
Don't forget that come April 1 the amount charged will be increasing thanks to the legislated annual carbon tax increases.

Would be better for a fella to simply post "their evidence" to convince another fella that he might be wrong.

In other words for every scientist who says that climate change is not rapidly accelerating there will be ten others who say it is.

The anti change climate scientists will themselves probably be funded by big oil, big coal..... and the others will probably be funded by scores of other entities including Governments from around the world.

The very best way to mitigate climate change is to simply use less fossil fuels, one of the better ways to achieve this is to have it cost you more money.

If you think things are bad here, in Great Britain" The Times said that in the first 11 months of 2022, energy firms applied for 345,000 warrants to force entry into U.K. homes."

Tenants are not paying their gas bills so its a simple procedure to get a warrant, enter the home and install a pay as you go meter.

This seems pretty radical to a home bred Canadian but I remember as a kid in the late 1960,s my parents putting money into our hydro meter and turning the dial, no money no hydro.

I think the EVIDENCE about who is right is before a persons eyes every day, there seems to be no Country Worldwide that is not getting hammered by a climate event.

Even if a person only looked at news from America to see what is happening.

just like the ocean levels are rising? yet look at pictures of the statue of Liberty in the 1940's and look at a todays picture.
Don't believe everything you see on the news because if you do you'd probably believe Trudeau is good for Canada

I don't think one single point on the earth's surface "pictures of Statue of Liberty" would be a very scientific measure?

If Trudeau is not good for Canada Pierre Poilievre might be even worse, some of his plans so far Invest in bit Coin and launching a 44billion dollar law suit against Big Pharma.

By the time we make money off bit coin and he gets money from Big Pharma you and I will be carbon particles helping to feed a potato plant some where.

The only 1940 picture of the statue of Liberty I can find was taken at low tide, so it says on the back.

My bill ENDBRIDGE indicates HST is charged on the total bill hence on my last bill it was Total Gas Charge $215.29 and HST $27.99

BUT THERE ARE SIX OTHER ELEMENTS TO THE GAS CHARGES , THE DELIVERY CHARGE IS HIGHER THAN THE CARBON TAX, THE GAS SUPPLY IS HIGHER.

Now if you really want to examine your bill closer please look at the Natural Gas Supply I am paying 23.0333C/m3 March 2023 but back only in March 2022 that was only 14.5201c/m and if you have your bill from March 2020 it was 10.1841c/m3

So please tell me why your upset at a HST on a carbon tax when the GAS COMPANY HAVE INCREASED THERE GAS COST TO YOU BY WELL OVER 100% IN THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS.

So maybe we need a change OF GAS SUPPLY COMPANIES.

Gas and oil companies have made RECORD PROFITS THIS PAST YEAR, GROCERY STORES HAVE MADE RECORD PROFITS but for some strange reason some folks want to put their woes on Government that has little control of any of these increases.

My propane supply company decided this year they needed $1.2cents per lt this past September but the price in the September before was 61cents.

Its not the government ripping me off in Ottawa its Ultramar out of Red Deer ,Alberta.
