    Default Harvest Celebration Meal

Celebrating our good harvest with a meal:
Roast chicken from a local farmer
Potatoes, beets, squash, carrots all from our garden
Cranberry sauce made from wild cranberries we picked from a marsh.
Bread stuffing made with wild cranberries, chantarelle and bishop's polypore wild mushrooms we foraged
Dill pickles made with dill, cucumbers and hot peppers from our garden.
Local apple and wild cranberry pie.

Later some home made sparkling (hard) cider.

Here's to everyone else who is celebrating your harvest.
