    Default Ammo Shortage getting worse??

Although I have enough ammo for hunting but only the occasional shooting . I am looking online for sabots and some 22 rf and I am noticing even more very little ammo. I was just up in Deep River Ontario and at Canadian Tire and the ammo cabinet had probably less then 20 boxes of ammo and this is everything. Look online to see what Canadian Tire has and almost nothing. Check Cabelas something.

I don't think it's getting any worse but it certainly isn't getting any better and the prices are steadily creeping up. A flat of 12 gauge target loads that cost $74.95 last spring is now close to $100.

I work at Al's GW ( Just a sat am gig....for pocket money).

Let me know what you're looking for.

There is a very definite shortage, and it's getting worse. If you're shooting an oddball, you're going to be hard pressed. ( Stuff like 30-06, .308 there is still ample amounts).

12 gauge, there's a fair amount of 3" and 3.5" steel, but we had a few calls this weekend for folks looking to feed older guns ( 2 3/4" #4 or #6 lead) for upland, and we had nothing.

"Camo" is perfectly acceptable as a favorite colour.

    Caliber / gauge?

Lots of regular stuff available. I did notice that even lead game loads are now $30 a box.

This confirms that it was my lucky day the other day! Wandered over to the ammo cabinet at Canadian Tire in Hamilton last weekend and they had about appox. six boxes of WInchester Super X 23/4" #4 and #6 lead. The employees face was shocked when I said I only wanted one box, I think he thought I was going to clean them out! Price was $18.99 and now I am ready to check out the Norfolk County Pheasant release
