    Default Bbq Smoker

I’ve had a char griller for nearly 10 years and have made some wonderful bbq. It’s been a great offset smoker. But it’s a bit small. I’m only able to get 4 racks of ribs on at a time. This wouldn’t be a big issue if I used it only for my immediate family. I usually host a bbq a month and like to have the extended family and friends over. I’ve purchased a slow and sear for my Weber to add some smoking space but I’m getting tired of running multiple units.

Prices of new offset smokers are pretty up there. I’ve also seen some custom fabricators online making them. They too are not cheap. Has anyone had a smoker made or bought one of these big heavy ones ? (ie. yoder) I’ll probably end up having one custom made, I’m just stalling. I was recently quoted 5k for a trailer styled one you can pull behind your vehicle. The cooking chamber on this unit is 60x30. Heck I could do a small hog on that.

Anyways, just looking for any other bbq enthusiasts input.

    thanks
