    Default Canada Day protest

So another protest is underway in Ottawa, the media is reporting 4 arrests as the veteran James Topp makes his arrival. Good on him for doing something that most of us would only talk about.

as we celebrate all things red today there are a few questions worth asking…..

What made the February protest in Ottawa an “illegal” protest ?

Why are there still a few vaccine mandates in place when the rest of society has moved on and has accepted Covid as part of modern life ?

Is Confederation working for everyone ?

Seems the demonstrations didn’t amount to much. While they were claiming Trudeau was hiding, he was down the street at Le Breton Flats. Perhaps the tank is empty on the Freedom movement? Leadership either out on bail or still in jail. Infighting among those who are not. Where’d all the money go is a question I have? Police did a fantastic job of keeping the city from being re occupied. And for the record I was on the streets or at Lebreton Flats from 8 am-12am so yes I was there, not everywhere but covered a lot of ground.

I think the movement is still strong just not all in Ottawa. Saw plenty of we the fringe flags f tru flags and freedom lovers at the Friday fireworks show not near Ottawa lol.

Lots of people fed during the original convey rentals and other purchases can add up quickly. Even the homeless had hot meals.

Just for them to clear the streets of snow cost hundreds of dollars in shovels. How much in food per day ? 2 or 3 hot meals made daily.?
