The Vacuum in Canada
Found this opinion piece a well written summation of where things stand politically here in Canada. The larger question is where will Canadians find that leadership needed to make change?

In this country, historically, we don't usually vote a government in, so much as vote the previous one out.
"Camo" is perfectly acceptable as a favorite colour.

100% agreee. We unelect a government and replace it with who ever is stand across the isle. Then we continue the cycle of ineptitude, and wonder why things don’t get better. I suppose it fulfils Jefferson quote , “The government you elect is the government you deserve.”

Amen to that !
Good article, sums things up nicely. We don't want the Liberals, the Conservatives can't get their act together so it leaves us with the NDP to be our savior ? Funny.... they weren't mentioned in that article.

Federal, I think most Canadians, can’t or won’t embrace what the NDP offers up in their platform. It’s to far to the left and utopian in ideal. However they have been able bring several things forward. And have added stability to the current situation. I guess we will see who fills the void in leadership on the right in the fall.
