“To serve and protect” is that just a catchy slogan or their motto?

The usual gun debate is pointless here.

People should be discussing root causes, as well as the complete and total failure of the police.

So absurd that it almost seems by design…

God bless these children and their families.
How very true in this situation good post Bushwhacker!!!

Protect WHO.... WHO's orders..... first time I listened to the video it gave me little concern and a bit of a chuckle... BUT with the police shooting the guy recently with the pellet gun reminded me of this video and of the gunsmith getting shot.

We know the Liberal's spent less than 1/3 their fighting gangs and crime promises but will spent about 3X that PROMISE to seize firearms from the law abiding, we know the Liberals reduced sentence on crimes, many with firearms and that police powers keep growing.

So it often seems that solving the problem isn't a goal, using the problem... seems more the goal.

I’ll say it once again ….unless most of us with an interest in firearms join an advocacy group, you can expect that left-leaning governments will plan on taking away more and more. This country’s demographic has been swinging from rural to urban dramatically over the last few decades. The political climate is not going to improve

YES, some seem to like the aroma but for the cost of a box of shells you can join CCFR and/or CSSA, depending on the ammo BOTH and we already see bolt actions called "assault weapons" in Canada by the antis, see post and linked video at time mentioned.

The U.S. could probably solve a lot of their firearm problems by re-imposing the draft.

Canada could probably deal with any firearm concerns by impose a public compulsory adult firearm training course, and start dealing with the younger crowd by providing awareness and firearm training through the public education system.

Firearm advocacy groups are an waste of time, if the other side off the population has no idea of what they're talking about and has no interest in educating themselves so they can approach issues on a level playing field. The prime focus of the latter is centered upon suppressing firearms rather than learning to live with them. If you are an island nation that might work, but if you are neighbours to the great firearm arsenal in the world. suppression is not likely to achieve much.

I like your sentiments but I think those ideals are well in the past ? The average urbanite citizen has absolutely no interest in firearms, and that’s why no one but us is standing up for us.
