I’m not a bear hunter, but I like this colour phase. What do you think? Would you shoot it or would you wait a year so that it gets bigger?

I set up my cameras and deer feeders on Saturday and this rascal showed up about 5 hours after and never left for 24 hours while he ate all of the deer feed. Now I probably won’t get any deer pics!

Beauty Sam-a tad small though ,i agree.
It is a daring game -as far i am concerned.
Dare to leave it for next year -would be the right choice.
Hovewer-no guarantees for the bear to survive/or to show up again.

    Beautiful Bear.
    I would let him be.
Hopefully he can grow and spread his genes.

Tough call being a colour phase bear. In my many years of bear hunting I have only seen one, not while hunting but on my trail cam.
It is on the small size though.....I would probably let it walk and then hear my group at camp B-slap me for not harvesting it.
    Thanks for sharing Sam

That's a gorgeous Bear. I think it's bigger than we think, but, not being big into Bear hunting,of course,I could be wrong.. I would be terribly torn whether to take it or not......much like watching your mother-in-law drive over a cliff in your new truck.
