    Thanks for the input on the bolt cutters performance
    Browtine....I am surprised it took that long for the moose to expire. I can only assume it wasn't a double lung shot?

    Ya, well might not of been quite 20 mins but felt like it.
    Truth is making a well placed shot on a walking moose at 5 yards was not so easy LOL, not sure what I ended up hitting inside but it definitely bled out in the cavity.

    We all use fast crossbows in our group 400+ fps, we all use different models of rage but the the result is the same, they die very quickly. We have shot a bunch of moose with them. My last 2 were shot at 63 yards and 50 yards and both passed through and held together, I shoot rage hypodermic crossbow 125gr not I use these heads for everything. I have seen multiple times with new crossbow hunters or guys that only hunt the 1 week a year use fixed blades and not properly sight things in and when it comes to the moment of truth they get a flinger and wound and miss their game. Most guys in my group are great, we consistently practice to 100 yards and the rage groups well all the way out.
