Not really if its a no starter for some of the base its not a mute point, its the starting point of no support for PP.

As well Trudeau has done zero to tax the rich so I am unsure of that point. Trudeau has increased taxes more then 25%, taxes that affect the middle class and the poor.
There is no Conservative candidate going to make it in an election unless they articulate what the Conservatives stand for today.

I think if you want to appeal to the average working Canadian you should not put forward a parson who has never really held a "real job" in his life, has been a life long politician with a gold plated pension and some how has also managed to acquire 9 million dollars?
I think PP is good "public pension". Skippy is not bad as in skipping a real job. LOL

Another very insightful, well investigated reply.
If the Canadian public can vote Justin back into power so many times, what does that say about your choice of village idiot as you say?
When you can get your party together, decide what you stand for and be honest enough to state it to the public, give us a buzz. Next.

You keep saying that over and over, do you really think Canadians are going to vote for the communist WEF via the LPC? You've become unhinged there haven't been any Canadian values attached to either party since 1967.

What I would like to see out of a conservative leader is honesty. I would like the dirty tactics of political theatre to be ignored. I would like a clear and concise plan moving forward. I’m done with the tattle telling rhetoric of campaigning. I want maturity, confidence and unity. No matter how difficult, I don’t want to see attack ads and campaigning, that’s where integrity is lost. I want to see humbleness and a willingness to accept responsibility when things don’t go as planned. I want to be able to connect on a meaningful basis and not feel bribed by empty election promises. I want the truth, no matter how ugly it is. I want the new leader to clean up the messy political system we have now and make it transparent. Enough of the lies, enough of the political posturing. It’s time for a dead honest approach and let the people decide if they’re ready.
I want that out of all politicians. I think the first one that can deliver these qualities has a good chance at being PM.

That should put the Liberals in the impossible to vote for list, with their lies, ethics violations, conflict of interests, coverups, division etc.
