It doesn't matter if proof of vaccination is required to Ireland because can't board an aircraft in Canada unless you are vaccinated.

I'm expecting that restriction to be dropped pretty soon. This has nothing to do with health and safety. It's the federal government taking an end-run around the provinces right to put vaccination mandates in place. The provinces didn't do a strict enough job of it, so the feds are stepping in where they have no business. When there is covid everywhere and being vaxed does not protect you from contracting covid, it would take an idiot to put this regulation in place or to even back its existence. This is not about health - its about social engineering.

To date, there have been
10 deaths in the 19 and under age group,
119 deaths in the 20 to 39 age group,
788 deaths who were between 40 and 59,
3,632 who were between 60 and 79 and
6,361 who were 80 and older.
