Old reloading manuals - I must find them!

Wonder how a hard cast powder coated would work on a coyote. It certainly would not expand!

I would enjoy a 7600 in whelen. A few years of searching with no luck.

I don't think you are likely to have any problem with hard cast bullets of that caliber on coyotes., Although I have my reservations of using my .243 with case bullets on deer because of the velocity limits not allowing it, to build what I see as sufficient kill energy. I've sighted in my .243 with a 83 gr. Loverin hard cast bullets which develops something in the neighbourhood of 600 ft-lbs when pushed to 1800 fps, for use on coyotes. I've used the same bullet on groundhogs, it seem to kill them as effective as a 75 grain jacketed bullet running over 3,000 fps. With regard to loading manuals I look for them at Gun Shows , which hopefully will again start up some day. The more recent manuals will have the newer powder receipts, the older ones may not, you can always flip through them to check to see what powders receipts are listed.

Can't say that I've worked with RCBS molds, I used cast in my firearms, those bullets I push towards 2000 fps I use gas checks with. otherwise I work with plain base. I use pretty well LEE and LYMAN moulds with LEE lube/sizing dies to install the gas checks
