There are five times as many unvaccinated as vaccinated and yet the majority of hospitalizations come from the unvaccinated and a greater proportion of those are in the ICU.
And the higher proportional infection rate among the unvaccinated is occurring despite the restrictions on them.
And the majority in New Brunswick 21 of the 34 in hospital are 60 and up no one under the age of 19.
"Thirty-four people are in hospital, including 15 in intensive care and 12 on ventilators.None of those admitted to hospital tested with the Omicron variant,Public Health said.
Of those in hospital, 21 are over the age of 60, and none are under 19."
They stopped reporting the vaccinated vs unvaccinated long ago.

That started when the fully vaccinated positive case numbers started to exceed the unvaccinated...can't have the truth being told if it goes against the vaccination narrative,

Standing in line for 5 hrs for a test kit that doesn't have a great success rate with the Omicron variant.
Rapid Covid tests not as accurate with Omicron:
Rapid Covid home tests are more likely to give a false negative with the heavily-mutated Omicron variant compared to earlier strains, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said Tuesday.
In a statement, the FDA said it was collaborating with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study the performance of home tests, also known as "antigen" tests, against patient samples containing live versions of the Omicron variant.
"Early data suggests that antigen tests do detect the Omicron variant but may have reduced sensitivity," the agency said.
Sensitivity is a measure of how likely a test is able to detect a positive.
I love the new pat answer they have for when something, like the vaccines, fails...take two of them HaHa..
For instance, some rapid tests instruct users to take two tests, a certain amount of time apart, in order to confirm a negative.

The stupidity of it all....
Rapid antigen testing is also known as rapid testing or point of care (POC) testing. It is available for individuals without symptoms who are part of a workplace or organization that is participating in the Provincial Antigen Screening Program or private testing.
Rapid testing should be used for screening only and should not be used to diagnose COVID-19 infection.
Rapid testing does not prevent someone from getting COVID-19. It also does not replace public health measures such as symptom screening, physical distancing, appropriate use of PPE (masking, eye protection) and hand hygiene. Rapid testing can be thought of as an additional screening tool. Any positive results from rapid testing must be confirmed with laboratory-based testing.
The accuracy of a rapid antigen test is not 100%. There is a strong possibility of false negative results. This means that in some cases a client who does have COVID-19 may get a negative result through rapid testing.
Proper training prior to use is important. This will ensure more accurate results.

Hilarious, I just shake my head at the sheeple that are lined up like going to the gallows to try and get a test that's questionable at best.
