6mm carbide dies

In another thread Sidelock mentioned that he was prepared to buy new carbide reloading dies for his 6mm Rem. rifle. I just wanted to let him know, and others, that while carbide dies are the best for most handgun calibres they aren't necessary and don't offer any advantage to speak of for most rifle cartridges because you will still need to lube the cases before resizing and they will be very expensive as a custom order. Most manufacturers don't offer them as a standard production item.
Not my money being spent so if you feel that you have to have them go ahead but you will likely wait a long time on a special order.
Just sayin.
