I think it would be naïve to hope there were not a number of murders considering the abuse many of those children endured. Perpetrators of sexual assault would have motive to kill in order to hide their crimes. There is plenty of evidence children simply vanished others found floating in rivers after their siblings were warned they would meet the same fate. The government is fully aware of these incidents and hence the compensation package announced.
That is one aspect, the separation and suffering from families being separated forcibly is another aspect.

So this has nothing to do with character assignation from any quarter and nothing to do with division, the division was for us to have done this in the past, where we divided their families and divided them from their culture and language.

Knowing you history you will be aware that our aboriginal BROTHERS IN ARMS saved this country from American invasion so even in that aspect I consider their descendants should have the same benefits as war veterans.

Wheres the evidence to support such claims. Many died from sickness as did many people across the country during those times.. If this was happening right up into the 1990's how many adults were charged and convicted of sexual crimes and murder?

I won't disagree yes they were taken from their homes and sent to schools. Obviously our government did it for reason considering the conditions many were living in on reserves, showed little hope in a prosperous future for the youth.

Handing them billions has solved nothing as poor living conditions and hopelessness for children continues to this day. Not hard to figure out why child suicide rate is so high in FN's reserves, and it's certainly not created by white folk.

As were the results of the "Missing and Murdered Aboriginal Women" inquiry. The results of which pointed the finger directly back into their own communities. The vast majority of crimes against the indigenous are still perpetrated by their own....and why we don't hear about it anymore.

Our government stole kids from their families because of the living conditions, you are so out of touch what happened to them, you shouldn't even try contributing to this conversation, all the whining going on here, I could only imagine how much you aboriginal haters would be whining if it happened to your family members

Where is you evidence it did not happen. Why did these children die of sickness while in the custody of the state? Nobody cared so why would charges have been laid. Did taking them from their homes ensure a prosperous future for the youth?

Poor living conditions and haplessness apply to many white children who were not subjected to the residential system.

If the FN reserves were created by white folk, why did they not contribute to the present day problems of suicide and hopelessness.

Fortunately brighter mind's than yours have figured this all out and hence the justly deserved compensation.

Post your sources of this claim?

Many aboriginals murdered were victims of serial killers, who were NOT aboriginal. Many being easy targets because they worked in the sex trade. Many more have been killed by the police.

FN's have created their own failures and continue to today despite the billions in handouts that clearly they cannot manage.
Whites are not to blame for FN's poor living conditions, this problem they created all on their own. Apparently 10 billion hasn't fixed their drinking water problems as they care more about monetary handouts than taking care of they're own.

Obviously the living conditions today speak for themselves with the amount of youth suicide on reserves. The only ones out of touch are those who choose to ignore the problems within FN's and their own leaders refusal to address.

There isn't a shred of evidence as to that. Serial killers weren't indicated anywhere in the investigation and neither were Police shootings that weren't justified by armed subjects. The long and the short of it is as MikePal has previously stated. The investigation showed the exact opposite of the Liberal/feminist/media dichotomy. Once the bottom fell out of the proscribed BS story, the politicians banging the drum had their stupid mouths slammed shut in a hell of a hurry because their credibility disappearted like a puff of smoke. That also goes for the ridiculous "genocide" spin they tried to put on the gravesites which were no secret whatsoever. The only issue with them was the failure to be properly maintained which people justifiably found very disturbing.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
