Paying a lot more for food next year, says Canada's Food Price Report
Watched a few MSM reports on the increase in food prices across the board ...not one mention of the Village Idiots Carbon Tax as a root cause...
This time last year, the report was forecasting an increase of between three and five per cent for food prices, with a theoretical family of four consisting of one man, one woman, one boy, and one girl, on track to pay about $13,907 to feed themselves in 2021.
In the coming year, Charlebois says food price inflation is on track to be higher with a likely increase of between five and seven per cent — or an extra $966 a year for the typical family grocery bill.
In the entire article, it's not specifically mentioned that a big reason..the Carbon taxes added to fuel cost from source to consumer.
Food prices seem to be going up the way Doug Ford says they would...

They said the food would go up another 7% it sucks .
But now that you mentioned it the carbon Tax goes up 7% as well if not mistaken. If so that would be the annual increase each year? Meaning everytime I he carbon tax goes up so will everything else.

It's only going to get worse until voters pull their heads out of their arses and stop supporting such an incompetent liberal government from their purposeful acts of destroying our economy. Our carbon tax green plan is a total failure.

When you increase the cost of anything basic to production or manufacturing, you increase the price of everything across the board.
When you increase the cost of fuel for example, you've increased the cost of:
- the farmer's overhead
- crop inputs
- use of machinery to plant and harvest
- transport of produce from farm to processing
- transport of product from processing to the store
Similar when you increase the cost of other elements like electricity or taxes.
It's all a very regressive scheme.
