Default Vaccine Mandates are Doomed to Fail

Jeese didn't see this coming ..Haha..

Set aside for now that most governments have been told internally their get-vaccinated-or-get-fired requirements are almost certainly unconstitutional. For nearly three decades, until this week, the opinion from Health Canada was that “vaccines cannot be made mandatory because of the Canadian Constitution.”
Justice Canada has reportedly told the prime minister’s office the same thing. And even if mandates are legal, practicality is throwing a wrench into governments’ get-tough approaches.
Are governments really going to fire one-in-10 or one-in-11 workers? For Ottawa, that would be close to 40,000 federal civil servants.
Is the government of B.C. truly going to furlough 4,000 or more hospital staff?

And if not nurses and doctors, then how can governments justify dismissing tens of thousands of vaccine-hesitant lab techs and respiratory therapists? Even teachers, police officers and rec centre staff?
More and more we are seeing the cold, hard truth of mandates dawning on tough-talking political leaders and government officials.
So Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole was right all along, you can’t mandate full vaccination. There has to be a fallback, such as regular testing.

Stop it, common sense and truth are in short supply. Me, I am one of the federal workers who will be impacted by mandates. The problem with my fight...is I have lawyers helping me and providing advice. They are not quite sure how handle my grievances so far, next week my employer get 2 notices of Liabilities service by bailiffs (outside office, when they arrive). I am facing job action on 15 Nov, but I am ready for the fight and have been ready for 6 months.

You can fight, if you choose, or just comply, or fight and comply, but you have to stay in fight to make a difference in 3 to 5 to as long 7 yrs before all internal legal methods have run the path, before Supreme Court Challenges can begin.

Not sure how your case will go, but common sense rarely prevails. Just look at those that wear turbans. Their religious rights trump safety. No need for helmets on a motorcycle or hard hats on a construction site. I think it’s backwards but I’m not in charge. Best of luck.

Re the whole travel restriction thing...

Don't expect anybody to advertise this. But molecular tests are still on the table for flying within Canada, outside of Canada, and entering Canada.

As expected, they backtracked at the 11th hour.
Trudeau was bluffing when he said that after Nov. 30 you could only travel on a plane if you were fully vaccinated. Unvaccinated people can still travel by air as long as they present a recent negative test result.

Incredible that the federal government increased immunity recognized from the original 90 days, to 6 months. Funny how they changed that in complete silence and no update claim by any msm.
