Excuse my jumping in here fff.

If this battle isn't worth fighting than what is? We've never seen anything like this before in this country. To just shrug one's shoulders and say "oh well it doesn't effect me!" is spineless and shortsighted.

This outlook is why conservatives and sensible liberals keep losing the culture war:
- Oh it's just critical race theory being taught in elementary schools, what's the big deal?
- So what if your 5 year old wants to mutilate themselves and change their gender, who cares?
- It's only bill C-16, the first of it's kind in the history of English common law which now compels speech and makes 'misgendering' someone a crime
- It's only M103, which makes a certain special special religion immune from criticism
- It's just a few churches burning, they deserve it for all the mass graves. They have insurance, right?
- It's only a few million immigrants (and many illegal immigrants), don't be so scared. It's not like the healthcare system will get dangerously overloaded, oh wait...
- It's just a temporary measure, and so on

This is how things slowly slide into hell.

If there's never a hill to die on, then you will run out of hills.
