Yep, we talk to our kids about it and what it means, I wonder how many other do or don’t.
On the topic of it being a recognized holiday…I’m not sure how I feel…it obviously has more than enough merit, but would society use that day to reflect or would it just be another day ? At least in the schools the kids get the assemblies with the wreath laying and learn a bit.

To all the vets that paid the ultimate sacrifice and past and present men and women of the armed services we honor and THANK YOU for your service on this Nov 11. Lest we forget more needs to be done in the country on behalf of our service men and women.

My dad was overseas for years, 1939 -1945 with the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment.... Italy and Belgium. He came home a shadow of himself , never to recover. Thank you Dad for your sacrifice which affords me the freedoms and privileges I enjoy to day.

Heard on the radio today some anti covid/vax/restrictions people in BC hijacked a Rememberance Day ceremony. Veterans stepped in to take care of them. Thanks again!
