Well, I guess we'll see in about 2 to 3 weeks who is right ... whether the vaccine works or not, because
I've heard from many here, the hospitallizations and COVID infection rates will go through the roof with the colder weather.
By colder, let's make sure we understand ... the optimal temperatures for COVID transmission is 5'C to 14'C ... we have been
smack dab in the middle of that for 2 to 3 weeks now.

Herd immunity has already been reached through vaccination, not to mention natural immunity. Of course the numbers should lower this flu season.
What many fail to grasp is influenza still makes its rounds during its season. It didn't just magically disappear when covid showed its face 2 years ago.
People need to learn to live with it and not live in fear..cheers

yea with over 90% fully vaccinated it's impossible to become 'overwhelmed'...not enough un-vaccinated, when you exclude those who have had the virus and are natural immune, left to make a ripple.

A classic example of the unvaccinated
New Brunswick had 60 cases 48 percent unvaccinated 0 people in the hospital under 19.
Just in 2 regions young people make a third or 20 of the cases with zero in hospital yet probably the majority unvaccinated.
Just 2 regions
Regional breakdown of new cases
The 27 new cases in Zone 1 (Moncton region) are as follows:
· 16 people 19 and under;
· two people 20-29;
· four people 30-39;
· two people 40-49;
· a person 50-59; and
· two people 60-69.
Twenty cases are under investigation and seven are contacts of previously confirmed cases.
The 10 new cases in Zone 2 (Saint John region) are as follows:
· four people 19 and under;
· a person 20-29;
· a person 30-39;
· two people 40-49; and
· two people 50-59.
Mind you most of the hospital is from the unvaccinated just a small amount of the unvaccinated population will take the heat for all the unvaccinated.
About half the population or could be more in the age's 19 an under could make up the majority of unvaccinated. Only kids 12 to 19 have vaccines. But they are not the ones flooding the hospital or even in the hospital.

Wow, do you guys not realize you're actually admitting the vaccine works, when you make these statements?

If trudeau has tens of millions booster shots ordered for the next few years, draw your own conclusions.
If our healthcare chooses to not test the vaccinated, how many vaccinated will test positive...cheers

They are already here those are for next year. Like Mike said there is 20 million doses sitting in fridges. They won't expire .
Those are the boosters it's the same shot as first and second now the third shots.
I heard you can get a booster of mnra after 28 days of the second AstraZeneca.
Anyone over 70 , health care workers and indigenous peoples who received a second dose 6 months ago can now book an appointment for a booster.
The new top doc said that it will give good short term protection against infection.

These are your words:
"Herd immunity has already been reached through vaccination"
