Ok so I've heard some things out in Saskatchewan. My cousin was telling me this morning that he's heard from 2 different people, 1 is my neighbor farmer who has farmer friends in Saskatchewan. He got an email from the friend saying the government could expropriate your farm for foreign military use. Any truth to that? Mosquito, you're a good digger of information.
My cousin says it boils down to China taking over Canada, buying property, etc.

Technically speaking the government can take your land at anytime and it's done quite often.

I have only heard of in Ontario... so far but it seems there were a total of 18 interactions it seems, some older videos.

The Trudeau Government wanted the PLA to train in Canada.
What is going on in Taiwan and the Indian Ocean and South China sea etc. are why I added to this thread though.

The PLA has bases as far flung as in Africa and China just completed a moon mission, so ignoring them is bad but also bad is training them in cold weather warfare. Why not look at what is happening in Taiwan, Hong Kong, the South China Sea, the huge increase in military spending.
True they signed a 2013 agreement, the
"Cooperation Plan Initiative (CPI): A non-binding cooperation arrangement signed in 2013 between Ministers of National Defence from Canada and the People’s Republic of China.
As a non-binding arrangement, the CPI does not require DND/ CAF to engaging or cooperating with the PLAC "
However according to the leaked documents it was Trudeau that was having a fit about the PLA troops training being cancelled and prior to 2018 there seems to have been no military troop training. Some observation and exchanges occurred prior to Justlied as would be expected in the real world but in the light of the changing position of China and its belligerence stance actual training of troops and the current exchanges of information are what I would consider almost treason if not actually so. Also there is the issue of the Wuhan military games in 2019 that Canada sent over 100 soldiers too, that many came back sick and the possibility that they had the Wuhan Pneumonia (COVID) has neither been confirmed or denied just the question ignored.
I know you can't face the facts and blaming Harper is expected since it is you so don't worry, be Happy, there will be another election in 18months and either Justlied or Canada will be happier then.

As with most policy disasters we can trace the origins to one particular political party in this country and that is why they are stuck in opposition. IMHO

"A fool finds no pleasure in understanding but delights in airing his own opinions." - Proverbs 18:2
Do you have any facts you are basing your opinion on??
Let's do short simple analysis of the facts of where we are now.
The Liberal's have lied about: budgets, deficits, spending, ethics, corruption, treatment of women, treatment of vets, China, COVID and a long list more.
I can go on about the deficit, corruption, how they have treated women and vets, reducing sentences on criminals, increasing taxes.... but in your case I guess this is true sadly.
"To give truth to him who loves it not is but to give him more plentiful material for misinterpretation" - George MacDonald
So just to make you happy let's do a blame Harper...
The Libs blame Harper for lowering the HST and letting Canadians keep millions more in their pockets.
We can blame Harper for the changes to the MP pensions, they say it cost him as much as $1M personally and we see several of the MP's just voted out like Maryam Monsef not eligible for a pension now.
We can blame Harper for paying for his kids school etc, for shame, he should have used taxpayers money like Justlied Trudeau did, JT even had two taxpayer funded nannies.
We can blame Harper for the large number of international trade deals, for shame, he should have just talked about his socks.... but his socks were boring too... double for shame.
We can blame Harper for trying to modernize some of the firearm laws and simplify them... just look at what Justlied said about him making it OK to take restricted weapons to soccer matches etc. .... oh wait, Justlied lied. never mind.
We can blame Harper for not privatizing any oil pipelines and trying to make criminal sentencing have mandatory minimums, look at Trudeau's accomplishments there, he spent billions and reduced sentences and even is trying to seize firearms from the law abiding. Spend and help the criminals, that's the Liberal way.
enough time wasted....time to work, have a good day.
Back to the topic... China and Canada.... doubt they will do this though
Now is the time for Canada to show support for Taiwan

mosquito,
When a certain leader of a certain political party at a party convention for the leadership of that party stated to the party members that he was not going to bring in a carbon tax, was going to support gun owners on the ban on semi auto guns,
played up to the religious right in relation to abortion and so forth and then reversed almost all of those promises did he lie to the party supporters.

Yep.... Conservatives care about integrity, maybe why he lost, but he would still be far far better than the liar and incompetent fool we have now that has said the Balitics don't exist, budgets balance themselves, ISIL members contribute etc. Even the Simpsons cartoon understands Justlied's lack of integrity better than the Tru-Cult ... he's a joke to the US, pathetic to Australia, a Fraud and "far from a statesman" to India ..... and sadly PM to us even though he got less votes than last time and less than the Conservatives both times.
So... once again back to Trudeau's failure in relation to world policies and blindness to China... or his obedience to China... hard to pick.
