You don't stop hunting because you grow old. You grow old because you stop hunting.

Perhaps those newcomers from “conflict zones” should become better acquainted with Canadian culture, tradition, and laws before they are granted voting status.

Unlike much of their membership the people at the top of the PPC aren't complete morons. They are fully aware they are helping elect Trudeau because they need Trudeau to remain in power. A reactionary political movement can't thrive without an identifiable enemy.

Has too much time on their hands
I still believe Libs will get a Majority, however from what I am seeing at rally and online I believe PPC might be sitting in official opposition if they don't win it all.
I am an election scrutineer and they told us at first meeting they are expecting up 1,000,000 mail in ballots - first off how do they know that - secondly they expect no final result until late Tuesday once counted because of mail in... I asked how many mail-in had there been in the past elections, she was not sure but less 100K

Shouldn't they pass that test before they get to come to our country? If they end up in our jails, because they are living by Sharia Law ... why do we need to foot the bill for that?

Actually I would disagree that analogy - If you are a serious gun rights advocate - you would NOT vote CPC , you would actually vote PPC. But alais, you dont care to vote for best policy outright - because of brand color loyality. See that is the problem...if every firearms voter voted PPC - then policy change would have to occur in CPC in order to capture back those voters and that voting block.
The CPC and O'Toole has already flip flopped due to pressure after the debate and came out the next day and clarified he would keep Trudeaus OIC in place while they study it, he has not backed down on that - despite his promise to rescind, like NO Carbon tax broken as well. IF he bends to this politically expediate polls now, what is to stop from doing if he gets power..nothing.
Again - Firearms owners who vote CPC will be the reason we loose our guns - not the PPC.

Liberal majority would only speed up the inevitable from happening. Our culture has on average changed ... to many have their hands out for free money ... and we simply cannot afford what the government is promising, in order to win votes. We are like lab mice, that just want our piece of cheese ... don't even understand we are in a maze and for the amusement of this government ... all in order for them to stay in power ... keep us under control.
I hope they don't win a majority, and I'm excited that we have a fighting chance to keep them to a minority ... I'd say that a minority Liberal party is what will be the likely outcome ... but yeah, if they want to cheat, they'll cheat ... the Liberals have already shown us clearly they don't care about laws.

Well they are already declaring Trudeau has won, the question is it a minority or majority.
Thank you ppc voters you must be proud of helping Trudeau back to power

I voted in the advanced polls and am regretting that I cast my ballot for the cons. At this point I don't give a #$@% about my guns. They will have to come and get them and O'Toole has flip flopped on this anyway. I am more concerned with our loss of rights and freedoms, increased taxation, the scam that is carbon tax and it seems that O'Toole is catering to the leftists to win them over instead of holding fast to conservative values.

O'Toole has been playing at the Liberal game and trying to pick up the centre and left lite that have clued in Trudeau is a lying POS.

My prediction when the count is done is a bit more due to split and a high volume of mail in votes heavily favouring the Libs so 24 seats lost to Libs due to PPC and another 6 swung by mail in votes.
Sticking with what I said, a disaster for Canada. Max the ego is getting his revenge on the Conservatives and saying what ever he can to get attention and likely won't get one or two seats max but will make sure the Libs stay in power.

Well one of the CPC leadership candidates (Kelly Leitch) proposed that sort of a “values” test and she was denounced from all sides. I didn’t mind her approach at all.
