That chart how come there is way more deaths than new cases at the beginning? Also the same time Sept and Sept this year way more deaths it shows how accurate is that charts. ?

When did we start doing the vaccine vs unvaccinated stats? They started counting in December when the vaccine rollout was slow and little people were vaxxed. Why not show some charts after the majority had the shot and compare then.

    One last thing.

You say its to help prevent serious cases and death. But who is at risk of needing an ICU? It's not the majority of the population .

The first wave was during a complete lockdown, pre-variant and most of the deaths were in long term care homes or other congregate living for the elderly. The second wave was post variant, pre-vaccine, the lockdown was minimal and cases and deaths went up uniformly. The third wave was post variant, post vaccine, minimal lockdown at the beginning. Cases went up but deaths did not to the same degree.

While the majority of the population does not need ICUs it doesn't take many COVID cases to tie them up as is currently happening in Alberta.

I find it extremely frustrating when News networks post daily Covid stats and the figures never add up or balance, but, the fearmongering rhetoric is always presented as fact. I hate having someone piss on my leg and telling me it's raining.
