However JT and company have manage to convince the general public that assault style looking firearms are more dangerous than actual assault weapons, because the general public has access to them and they have been used in many instances to do mass murder. The general public finds this believable because of their general lack of understanding of firearm and the legislation that control their responsible use. So JT has a wedge issue to made hay with, and he is going to town on it. So JT is out to exploit the fear that the general public has of these gun, and will continue to point out that O’Toole has no interest in honoring the ban on them, and has lie to them about honoring the ban. Until the public is fully educated about the responsible use of firearm and the body of legislation that controls them, they will continue to be taken in on JT's BS, and will continue to demand more and more gun control, and this nonsense will persist.

So this is Erin's latest speech, clarifying what his plan is..

I think I see where he's going with this, good plan.
    .
"We're maintaining the status quo that's in place right now," he said, while also leaving the door open for future changes.

O'Toole's comments also included a promise of a "public, transparent" review of Canada's gun classification system, a step he said will depoliticize gun regulation.

"Our intention is to take the politics out of this, because Mr. Trudeau has divided rural versus urban, he has demonized, in some cases, farmers, hunters, sport shooters and actually ignored the real problem of rising smuggling and organized gang activity," he said.
"Assault" or "assault-style" firearms are colloquial descriptions, and what falls into either category is debated among gun users.

Asked about whether repealing that bill remains a promise, O'Toole repeated that he would maintain the bans on assault and "assault-style" weapon.

O'Toole made the comments at the end of a pier in downtown Vancouver, where he promised to hire 200 additional RCMP officers to fight gun smuggling, street gangs and illegal drug sales.

What percent chance do you believe the PPC will be elected.

I'm fairly confident people all over this country are waking up fast. There's not much love for those 3 chip dips anywhere I've seen.

Post some stats or can't you find anything.

Want to bet that the PPC doesn't get more than 6% tops and not one seat other then his own seat.

Some polls don't even ask about the PPC as an option. Do you really trust the MSM to post the truth? Sounds like 2 different bets, I'm game for both.

Listening to Lawyer Ian Runkle ..... a good reason to vote CPC, strategic or the party you want... #LIBSMUSTGO .

Pinned mags may be banned and it gets worse and comments on the censorship bills waiting.

really for Canada's future and firearms in Canada... budget includes $1B to help municipalities to ban handguns "for safety",
"virtually every firearm owner is impacted" .... and commentary on their censorship bills.

    #LIBSMUSTGO

A vote for anyone else is just guaranteeing a Lib win.

The simple fact is O'Toole did this because of polling and pressure. What makes you think if you elect him despite this, would he not do it again once he has your vote...when faced with the same pressures and polls. IF can do it now, and get away with your vote, then he will do it again.

You have been warned - and it will happen - you wont get your guns back until at least 1.5yrs into a mandate (if he gets it), you wont get them back under the liberals. Worse case is O'Toole will delay long enough to hold you as hostage for the next election cycle...to secure your vote then as well. They are not stupid.

You will get them back and have the removal of Section 91, 92 of firearms act under a PPC or Libertarian Government. ya, ya, ya you say they won't get elected, we must vote cons to form government. It is possible if you vote for them...

Truth is you don't actually care about firearms rights if you did vote PPC or Libertarian.... who actually have firearms rights policies.... You blind loyal to a color instead fighting for rights.

How many times have we had this conversation...Scheer, Ford, O'Toole... and next time - you dont learn.
Get mad vote blue - 4 years later get mad vote- your conditioning is working well..just saying
Mark Snow, Leader Of The, Ontario Libertarian Party
