The polls being published by various research groups all seem to contradict each others' results. The worse thing you could do is believe them. This is the result of an Ipsos poll just released today, which has Trudeau as the preferred choice at 34%.
The Ipsos poll conducted exclusively for Global News found the number of people who want Trudeau for the top job is slipping, however. Thirty-four per cent of voters surveyed said the Liberal leader would be the best prime minister, down five points from the start of the campaign.
O’Toole and Singh are tied at 29 per cent support, climbing four and six points, respectively, since the election was called.

That is poll is meaningless....it's just who polled people like as a leader...
in 2019: The Liberals garnered 33 per cent of the popular vote, less than the Conservatives’ 34 per cent.
the Poll from IPSO that counts is..
According to a new Ipsos poll conducted on behalf of Global News,
if the election were held tomorrow, Erin O’Toole and the Conservatives would receive 32% of the decided national popular vote (unchanged since last week), while Justin Trudeau and the Liberals would receive 31% of the vote (down 2 points). The NDP (23%) under Jagmeet Singh continue to edge upwards (up 2 points),
