In 6 months time when the booster comes around your passport will expire and it will be mandatory for you to get the jab or else you will be no better off than the un-vaccinated.

You're right ..it won't be getting the shot to prevent another Covid variant wave, it'll be getting another shot to update your vaccine passport or you won't be able to travel.

Ensuring your passport doesn't expire will trump any concerns about what the next Elixer is putting in your body HaHa..

Unvaccinated have no right to infringe on vaccinated rights.
Vaccinated have no right to infringe on unvaccinated rights.

How does that play out?

Let's assume vaccine DOES significantly (by at least 3x) reduce the probability of getting SEVERE sickness from COVID,
which requires hospitalization.

Let's further put on the table THE FACT ... other sickness like cancer, have taken a back-burner due to COVID, either due
to fear of using up all ICU capacity, or fact that it has been lost. My friend, just diagnosed with prostate cancer ... they said
see you in February for a CT scan, before any treatment can be started ... he was "forced" to go to USA, so he doesn't die
of cancer waiting for our Hospitals ... and we blame ALL that on COVID.

So, what is fair?

I'm not on a particular side ... though full disclosure, I'm double vaccinated.
Here's my speculation ... I understand people's fears that the vaccine isn't adequately tested ... I do think
the conspiracy theories are completely out to lunch ... so I don't buy 5G and population culling as a good reason to not
getting your vaccine.

Does that matter anyhow? Probably not ... but I sure get pissed off when my mate can't get his cancer treated because
the ICU is full of COVID patients ... or there's a fear they will be. And according to the numbers I see, the majority in ICU are
unvaccinated.

So, again, what's fair?

When there's only 600 or so ICU beds in ALL OF ONTARIO.......and half are filled up with abandoned old folks waiting for a bed at a home.....yes.....there's going to be issues with beds.....I've got a bud who works in a hospital.....and he's been telling me half the kids in there are in for Vax side effects....its hard to get anything straight these days....as both sides have arguments......I'm sorry your friend is going through that....I have a feeling alot of cancers could be either slowed down or cured if there wasn't so much money attached to it....

That has always been the scenario with cancers like Prostate..that has nothing to do with Covid. The health care system and surgeries specifically have been backed up 6-8 months. However if urgent they get taken care of. It's called triage.

A good friend was diagnosed with stomach cancer in the spring and was in and had his surgery (stomach removed ) with in a couple of weeks. Spent 5 weeks in hospital and is now home....all the while Covid raged on.

just for edification purposes; there are 1,200 ICU beds in Ontario across 84 hospitals. Only the big city hospitals were near capacity for a short time.

I believe Ontario was able to increase the need by another 1,000 ICU beds if the pandemic had proven to be worse than it was.

Yes, people aren't realizing the implications of what they're applauding into play. If you aren't on board with a shot every 6 months, regardless of your current status, you will be unvaccinated.

Yea that is a major flaw in their plan...it took 5 months for the vaccination rate to reach 75%....and now they know the shots are only good for 5 months.

The passport will be basically useless concept, as the lag time to get the booster into enough arms for herd Immunity.
