Blue Berries
Boy this is a banner year for blue berries - they are getting ripe now and can't keep up picking them - I usually freeze around 40 quarts of them after eating my fill of them each year - if you have any room on your property planting blue berries is the way to go - very hot down here over the last couple days - in the 90's - too hot to do much outside until around 6 pm or later - meanwhile all is almost quiet on the southern front - Joe

I have a nice mulberry tree in the backyard .... some call it invasive, and makes a huge mess ... but tastes so good.
were also on the same boat, cant keep up with picking them off the tree as they get ripe.
should try adding a blue berry tree as well !

I have a couple mulberry trees on my property - they are good to have if you have cherry trees because they take the pressure off the cherries from the birds - the birds love cherries but they also love mulberry

Mulberry trees are not invasive, unless you have a white mulberry. Mulberry trees are native to Ontario.

Blue berries are a bush fruit.
If you like mulberries I got a graft you might like. Still makes a mess but less, the fruit is 3 x size of standard mulberry and ripens more individually over an extended period as opposed to all at once.
