When C-10 is enacted, many posts we see on social media platforms such as this will be censored.either, by site moderators who will be bound by law or by government "monitors" tasked with enforcement. People don't yet get the dangerous consequences to liberty and freedom from legislation like this.

Bill C-10 is specifically because the Liberal Government wants to censor Canadians, just like China does.

More succinctly.. they want to be able to block websites like the 'Rebel' from publishing stories that embarrass the Government.

Exactly, the Liberals want everyone to follow exactly what they say no questions asked and most Liberal supporters I am finding believe Trudeau is above the law. Pretty sure the ones on here believe that.
If they didn't they would be blasting Trudeau for not following Covid protocol.

This is a free speech joke from my old country(communist rule)
Translate it to Canadian.........
An English guy and my country man talks, and debates free speech.
The English guy says-we have so much freedom, one can stand on a top of a podium in Hyde Park, smack dab in London-and yell all day long : down with the Queen of England! Nothing will happen to the person.
My country man scoffs: this is the measurement of free speech? Well-we have it as much as You then!!! We can stand on a top of a podium in our Capitol City too-and we can yell ALSO all day long : down with the Queen of England!
Nothing will happen to us either.............

Youtube is also cancelling, Eric Metaxas just got the axe and the Rebel sounds like it is getting more traffic now it is on Rumble now.... if I was a content producer I would be looking at other platforms.

Typing "alternatives to" .... and you see youtube, google and gmail as suggestions and many other names. :-)
Facebook bans firearm bans... MEWE takes off.
Whatsap starts sharing data with FB... Signal goes up

People need to use alternatives to google etc. like duck duck go or swiss cow and we need an alternative to Justlied and it seems the Conservatives are the only choice.

Oh, I understand that.
But there was a part of me that thought they wouldn't dig down that deep. I mean there are over a billion users, and to snoop on a one on one conversation, where we are talking about car covers??
That opened my eyes ... it means they have the desire and capacity to read every single message. That just is creepy ...
And I'd further say, because there are no laws to protect the individual ... they can do what they want.
With laws, perhaps their 5 page long terms and conditions won't necessarily dictate what is right or wrong, but
rather a law that says it isn't right to snoop on one-on-one conversations.
