    Default June 6th

While everyone is pissn n moaning about Covid, the libtards and Tiananmen Square, let's not forget what June 6th represents in our history. I had an uncle who was a tank gunner with the Sherbrooke Fusiliers that landed on Juno Beach. He was in 3 different tanks that got hit over the following months and he survived to tell the tale. A couple other uncles were with the RCE's as sappers that landed that day also. They too survived to tell a few harrowing tales.

I went to Juno Beach while posted in Germany...went there with a Military Senior Leaders group. We toured thru areas beyond the tourist attractions. Seeing the battle area with your own eyes allows you to understand the magnitude of what the soldiers faced.

Thanks for the reminder BM....yes I forgot and the MSM sure didn't remind me. They were too busy shaming Canadians.

Yes, but we still have the war monuments to remind us of the dedication and sacrifice that Canadians made to the war effort. As things progress it would seem the monuments to our founding fathers appear to be slated to some form of oblivion, for the way they exercised such poor judgment in relation to this land’s indigenous peoples. A celebration of our pride or our shame. Things always seems to boil down to what the news media finds as being most worthy..
