People need to let go of the idea that a war with a virus like this one can be successful, because it can't. That's the big lie you're being sold. It's already being said, people are just refusing to accept it. We have to learn to live in a world with covid, the sooner the better for everyone.

Here's a two- part question to ponder. Why didn't we hear about variants until vaccinations started and who stands to gain if new vaccines need to be made?

Beat COVID? Never - viruses mutate. That is a normal biological process. I never once thought we would ever "beat" the virus. We still get small outbreaks of some "old" diseases like plague and yellow fever. Most pathogens in nature have been here for thousands of years and still remain. We just know how to deal with them better- from scientific examination and advancements in microbiology and medicine. Our media likes to use words like "double-mutant" and "dangerous variants" to keep us watching or subscribing to news channels. This makes me chuckle like my old Bio prof did when he gave us lectures on intestinal parasites while people ate lunch in class...

However, for anyone who has travelled or spent time in places like Africa and Mexico - you need to "get your shots" before travelling there. It is recommended to get vaccinated for hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, cholera, yellow fever, rabies, anthrax and meningitis. There is also malaria, Denge Fever and Zika Virus to think about, depending on your travel plans. Nobody seems to have any concerns about getting shots or pills for this stuff at all... so yeah, COVID won't ever "go away". We will learn to manage it like we do with these other pathogenic viruses and bacteria. Sure, vax companies make money, but so what. They might employ your kids some day or save your life with a new drug for cancer. Of course, I could be all wrong

We were slightly more open during the last May 24 weekend. Golf clubs, shooting ranges, etc. were open.

Your argument makes perfect sense if these were normal vaccines but they are not. That is the real issue and continues to be the issue. People continue to act like these are regular properly tested vaccines but they are not.

If we look at what is being said about these vaccines, I doubt they are as horrible as the worst case scenarios predict but they are definitely not as safe as the pushers would have you believe. The numbers for the severe side effects, damage and deaths from the vaccines will be suppressed for the sake of the narrative in the same way the COVID numbers were inflated. While I hope the worst case scenarios for the vaccines don't come true (ADE etc) based on the numbers that are coming out so far, I suspect the damage will be a lot worse that people suspect.

Yes thousands joined together an estimate of 2500 to 5 Thousand people . They are a little late tensions have been boiling for a while now that was one of the major things for their vaccine drive but people could of cared less. I said long ago in the vaccine thread that was one of the reasons they paid a premium because they were going to war. No stopping it now it's started and there is no backing down now.


Typically tho people rarely step up up until it effects them or the people they know.
