If beds are full then release the data for all to see! But WHY cancel surgeries of ambulatory patients who DON'T NEED a BED! Christine Elliott’s answer reminds me of FordNation saying that anyone who needs a legal aid certificate can call his office and get one.
Hospital occupancy yesterday:
- Toronto ICU is 81% (goal is <90%)
- Toronto acute 84% (goal is <90%)
- Province ICU is 2,033/2,412 = 84%
- Field Hospitals = ~ empty
Ontarians want our healthcare back!

Ok so let’s let logic take over again.
If the above is the case, why aren’t we hearing a large number of nurses and doctors warning of it? It seems to me that the doctors and nurses are URGING everyone to social distance and get the vaccine. Then once the numbers are down we can resume regular patient care. These are extreme circumstances, everyone needs to recognize that. And having silly rallies only goes to show that some cannot come to terms with logic. Viruses can become airborne and spread through a crowd quickly. This in turn will continue the need for beds in the ICU for the patients with covid-19.
If people would only listen, we could be done by now. Let’s all do our part.

There are lots of ways to protest other than a rally. Email campaigns, petitions, call-ins to elected officials and attending online public meetings with medical officials. I do not disagree with anyone who says our government screwed this up!! I will, however, side with the overwhelming advice from medical experts around the world on how to deal with COVID. I am not an epidemiologist or virologist, but I do have a science background, and the way out of this is simple science.
Viruses need hosts and they are us. Limit contact = no hosts = viruses die out. This is basic science, especially in regards to what we see in wildlife overpopulations. Vaccines can provide protection (not 100%) but history has shown they work (Polio, Smallpox, Yellow Fever). Are vaccines a magic bullet? Nope. Will our scientists and doctors make mistakes and sometimes have to change plans? Yep. Lets move on...
I support anyone on here who strongly wants to see a change in our government - I am with you. Corporations and Governments already know all about all of us anyway - got an IPhone? Ever read the licensing agreement? Use Google? Facebook? Twitter? Your habits are all tracked by evil corporations. Ever fill out a Census? File a tax return? Trudeau can find out where your kids go to school and what you had for breakfast. What keeps us free is the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and our Democratic rights. I do not think we, as a nation, will relinquish these things easily. Will it ever happen? We will see - but i have faith that it won't because we won't let it happen as a free society and as we can see on here, many of you are watching closely. That's great! I hope to see you at the polls or at the next open house with the PM because I have some hard questions to ask him too...
So - in the mean time, be safe and respect others and try to make a positive difference where you can. I don't wear a mask or follow COVID rules because I trust Trudeau - I do it because it might keep somebody's grandmother or parent out of the hospital. Remember, what you sow you will reap. Fear leads to anger - anger leads to hate - hate leads to suffering. Lets look out for one another.

Well this threads taken a bit of a turn. 
Back in the 90s, the financial industry was heavily criticized. Whether abuses on Bay Street, or stock brokers churning to generate commissions, nickel and dimes. At some point, powers that be, realized the public trust is the be all, and end all. Things started to change. These days, LEO is finally beginning to wake up, understanding the public trust is the be all, and end all. Things are changing.
Other fields, that have a lot of power over the public? Politicians and healthcare.
When the public trust is eroded or lost. Anarchy follows. Like the G20 and BLM as a direct result to Wall Street/Leo.
Like BirdBuff, I think all these conspiracies are half baked. And while there may be some “truth” it’s more a result of those in power ( including healthcare officials) exploiting the chaos for their own gain.
Rallies, anti maskers/vaxxers, etc. Go for it. Do it if so inclined. Right, wrong, indifferent have little to do with it.
Populism is rising because the public trust is shot. And there’s no one to blame, but those calling the shots. And depending on the topic, those that support them.
Could it prolong things?
Sure, it could result in a “super spreader”. Oh well, maybe it’s time, people at the top did better jobs. The peons can only take so much. And, for many, it’s been a brutal year for them. Let them eat cake.

The reason for the 2 meter distancing, no golfing, no playground. no camping, etc is to keep people from associating and discussing as a group how corrupt our government as become. They have difficulty in listening in on conversations and putting a "Social Credit Score" on your profile. This is easily done with social media and smart phones. Already being openly done in China.
Divide and conquer is their motive. No longer anything to do with a covid 19 virus that happened 1.5 years ago.
They keep fear mongering with variants to distract from the real Agenda that is the Great Reset.
Look around you. What do your eyes really see? Never mind what that propaganda box is telling ad nauseum everyday.
Does it really look normal to you? Is this the "New Normal" that you want for generations to come?
The last 4 months really show what the agenda is all about.
Governments are not there to help but to enslave you.
Stop focusing on a virus that 99.5% of the people shrug off and start living your lives again.
