One thing that stands out in the Toronto rally is they're all 60 year olds. Right???

The protest seems peaceful enough - sure is a mixture of humanity - the difference with the protests down here is after it is over the place is a wreck - they break windows - smash cars and burn things - personally I think what should happen is people should be informed as to the dangers of the pandemic - but then let the people decide what to do - free choice - the government should not take people's freedom away - the government shouldn't force people to lockdown or close businesses - I am pleased to see people standing up for their rights

Few windows broken last night in Montreal,
Heard they didn't finish up with the protest and will be back tonight.

It's getting a bit more intense not just hear but all over the world .

The problem being that the minority is who is always appeased. The majority of people would choose "X" but it will always be "Z" if even one mouthpiece wants it so.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Here's the problem - people protest peacefully and the politicians don't pay attention - they think that the protest is a good way for the people to let steam off but do nothing - once the protest starts to inconvenience people or cause damage the politicians take notice - that is why the minority gets attention because they protest but not peacefully while the majority just sit and complain about it but do nothing

Apparently it wasn't the parishioners that tore down the fence.

They seem to have gone a might farther than words in Quebec. They have started to sack the city of Montreal. My puzzlement is what did the business people in Montreal do to deserve such treatment. Surely they could have done something that had more of a focus on the governing bodies and maybe those in help professional that saw the need for a curfew. It would appear the curfew was put in place to keep the rabble in line and healthy. It's clear the leadership doesn't have a guide book and they are feeling their was through this pandemic. It's not like they seem to be attempting to urinate in your beer as some type April fool joke. You will eventually be given an opportunity at the ballot box to past judgment on how well they handle the situation.
