I went to our local Home Depot today to pick up an on-line order. The parking lot looked like Saturday morning and the store was packed with people picking everything from BBQ's to paint to what lumber was available (there's another story) for spring projects. It was NUTS! People must have had advance notice of the looming lock down. I heard one lady talking to another saying "If they lockdown the schools and send the kids home, again,I'm just gonna f__kin' lose it". Everyone within ear shot agreed......loudly. I figure about one more useless lockdown like this that doesn't work and there'll be a shyte ton of politicians looking for work in short order.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Then there is this
Person under 50 is dying every 2.8 days in Ontario. Same as the Toronto homicide on a bad year. But keek pushing the fear of covid 19 . More will die from opioids under the age of 50 in 1 day in Ontario or suicide. Not stats but I'm sure I left it on the lower end . Some kid in the next 24 hours is going to die maybe trying to fit in maybe just trying to have a good time . They have the nerve to spread fear of something when there are so many other's dying besides covid.
They are really pushing it.

What a disaster. I have family dying of COVID, and family dealing with depression ... I do beleive the variant is WORSE, but they pushed people to the limit with earlier lock downs (unjustified use of blanket rules ... knee jerk reactions) ... and now when we probably do need to be more careful, everyone is sick and tired ... our economy is going to get screwed on the other hand (it already is) ...
The perfect storm is brewing ... this cannot end well.
