It's never been as high as you suggest..this was from last August....and from what I've been reading, the 'anally retentive' believers have shrunk in numbers over time with more people feed up with the lock downs etc.
The Infection Fighters follow virus suppression behaviours carefully and comprise nearly half the population (47%). The Inconsistent represent just over one-third of Canadians (36%) and take a more half-in, half-out approach to flattening the curve. The remaining one-in-five (18%) are Cynical Spreaders who have expanded their social circles, don’t physically distance and are ambivalent towards hand washing and mask wearing. This last group also professes a clear dislike for the way public health officials and political leaders have handled the pandemic.

The police acted correctly. The pastor was clearly mentally unstable and the coppers don't need the grief of going hands on with the cameras rolling. I suspect they will follow up and issuing tickets with big fines.
Most Canadians who are getting full pay to sit home are not complaining duuuu.
Ask any employee or owner in the hospitality industry who is accepting of lockdown, closures and losses of entire business.
How accepting is it that, a barber can go visit the cashier at Costco, but the Costco cashier can't go visit the barber by themselves, Good thing they can both go visit each other inside Home depot.
Canadians are not accepting of the lockdowns, because the businesses with the biggest outbreaks are still open while businesses with zero outbreaks remain closed.
If most are looking forward to vaccination, that explain why nearly 50% are refusing to vaccinate?..
Your propaganda is laughable...lol

If Canadians were so eager to get vaccinated there wouldn't be plenty of extra spaces begging Canadians to fill up the available spaces.
Vaccine passes and outdoor mask mandate is a joke. . Why are they so eager to control and brainwash everyone. The people should decide what is best for them.

I think you'll find the number of Canadians that look forward to the vaccination is only around 52% barely a majority and some of them won't be able to get it any way. Considering your poll is 4 months old and was taken before Curfew implementation in Quebec it doesn't fairly represent todays mindset of the population. People are waking up and changing their minds all over the world.

There are 38 million Canadians.
Your point is what exactly?
They probably asked the people who were taking it more seriously. Example anyone wearing a mask outside walking alone lol.

Vaccine approval increasing.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/briti...ping-1.5940400
Specifically, 66 per cent of respondents said they would get a vaccine as soon as possible, opposed to a low of 39 per cent who gave the same answer in September.
This survey shows similar support.
https://www.ctvnews.ca/health/corona...tudy-1.5368415
In a report released last Friday, Environics Analytics found that around 69 per cent of Canadians over the age of 16 intend to take the vaccine.
Around 18 per cent say they're "unsure" if they'll get the vaccine, while 13 per cent said "no."

The companies they quote are respected and accredited public opinion survey organizations.

I edited to 8 after reading Mike's reply that said it was taken in Aug. it has since been edited back to 4. Still doesn't change the stank of it.

I deleted my post but if you want to make an issue of it...
Today is April 5, 2021. The poll was taken January 6, 2021. January+February+March = 3, not 4.
