"To show the growth of hospitalizations, the Science Table compared Dec. 26, 2020 to March 28, 2021 and noted a 21% growth in hospitalizations and 28% growth in ICU admissions. The date they picked was a low point for hospital admissions with just 755 COVID patients on Dec. 26 compared to 917 on March 28."

"Just the day before, on Dec. 25 there were 998 people in hospital. If you want to show a sharp rise then you pick the lowest point as your starting point. If the Science Table had used the seven-day rolling average there would be no big jump in hospitalizations to report."

"The modelling from Thursday only divides people into two categories, those over 60 and those under 60. That presentation showed that while only 30% of ICU admissions from Dec. 14-20, 2020 were under the age of 60, for the week of March 15-21, 2021 that age group accounted for 46% of admissions.""So, are we seeing a spike in people in their 20s filling up ICUs? Despite plenty of reporting that makes it sound that way, it isn’t the case."

"The rise in people under 60 was predominantly those aged 50-59, they went from 24 admissions to 41 admissions. It’s concerning to see this moving younger but describing people 50-59 as if they are in their 20s is simply not being honest."

I'm beginning to think this lock down has less to do with spreading the virus as it does with coercing people into get the vaccine. Remind us what it's like if we don't all get vaccinated.

They've really ramped up the fear mongering just as the reports from the vaccination centres that people are not showing up in the numbers that they expected and some are walking away from getting shots when offered particular vaccines. Vaccine hesitancy is on the rise with news of blood clots and increased side effects problems with the 2nd 'booster' shot etc...

It's not rolling out as well as the politicians had planned...time to take away some freedom till we learn to comply.

Welcome to the Medical Industrial complex. Pay attention to the amount of adds for pharmaceuticals there are during the news in the US. It explains why the US media is not critical of big pharma, because they are paying the bills. I don't watch Canadian news are there pharma commercials on Canadian channels?

I don't understand what the goal is any more with these on again/off again restrictions. Initially it was to flatten the curve and prevent overwhelming hospitals, but that was achieved long ago. It seems these news conferences and new restictions are just for dramatic effect.

I was thinking something was smelling fishy .
I was kinda thinking as the older population got it's vaccine it's keeping them out of the he hospital . Since they have the room they are now just keeping younger patients. Keeping some of the people they would of let go home previously . It was just a thought with more room in the hospital it only makes sense to fill the beds with younger patients than in December.

Saw an article that was asking if we should vaccine the children next .

Yeah, I was under the impression it was to secure PPE after Trudeau threw away the expired stuff then gave the rest to China, and give manufacturers time to build everyone a ventilator.

Well right there you also have the suppression of therapeutics, that's extremely fishy as well as the whole hospitalization thing, that's the last place I'd want to be.

The shutdown was only supposed to be as we prepare for the rise in cases.

We didn't do that still haven't done that we didn't plan or prepare for a rise in cases.

So now we are shutdown again as the government does little to protect its people against the rise in cases.
In all seriousness what has the government done to prepare for an increase in hospitalizations ?

Social re-engineering. Its the goal of the globalist elites that are pulling the puppet strings of our government. Their goal is, "you will have less and be happy".
The destruction of small business (hospitality)is in place at present. Can't have 10 people in a restaurant but Costco can have 1000 customers inside at any time. International travel is happening everyday but were told not to travel.
Its really showing the globalist pigs how easy its being for them to have their way with us.
